NEW LENSES: Experimental Capture and Release

My capture subject I am going to explore is experimental event where I want to use instructions to create a how to be a good roommate for dummies instruction manual. I plan to highlight some of the key issues that college students (or anyone in general) may face when living with other people. I would want to incorporate some of the situations I’ve experienced as well as go around asking a few peers about silly or weird roommate problems they have had. I would want to release this as a downloadable PDF.

Weekend 4/29:

Figure out the different roommate scenarios I want to cover in my instructional. Settle on at least 10 scenarios (10 how to be a good roommate situations). Draft some written instructions. Acquire some graphics and sketches of how to display each situation.

M 5/2

Have all sketches and written elements completed.

W 5/4

Complete a draft of the instructional book.

Weekend 5/6

Create final draft and make adjustments and complete project.

By Monday, I can have the set of instructions figured out as well as a general idea of what the graphics will look like.
