DUE MONDAY MAY 9TH

Congratulations for making it to the end of the semester! We will spend the rest of our class time working on a final project:
Prompt:
For your final, I’d like you to create an experimental capture based project using techniques and themes we’ve explored in class AND I’d like you to situate your project online for a virtual audience or irl by having it engage with a platform of your choosing.
Your project can be an intervention in an online space. Or it can use a public platform for an unexpected, critical, poetic or mundane purpose. Your goal can be virality OR to reach the smallest and most niche audience ever. You can approach this as an artwork, a design intervention, or a media content creation project. You can use platforms for their intended purposes, or misuse them creatively. This is super open ended so feel free to deviate from this prompt if you would like so that this project can become a portfolio worthy project for you going forward.
Consider the relationship between the subject of your work, the techniques you use, and the platform for engage with to ensure all three cohesively work together to best showcase your idea and reach your intended audience, whoever that may be.
I suggest approaching this assignment by choose at least one element of each column of the table below:
| Capture Subject | Capture Technique | Platform for Release |
| Experimental Landscape | Photo Spheres | Google Slides/ Google Doc |
| Experimental Portrait | Screenshots | IRL Intervention |
| Experimental Event | Pixel Manipulation | Instructables |
| Experimental Still Life | Photogrammetry | Twitch |
| Snap Filters | Youtube | |
| Machine Learning | Sketchfab | |
| Photo Viz / Data Viz | NFT | |
| Long Exposure | Tiktok | |

| Animating from 2D | Website via Glitch | |
| Animating from 3D | Downloadable PDF | |
| Smartphone video “Hacks” | Tumblr | |
| 3D scanning app | Webstore | |
| Time Lapse | Giphy |
ex. Make an experimental landscape series using time lapse video and stream that footage of flowers over 48 hours on Twitch.
