NEW LENSES: Experimental Capture and Release

For this unit final I decided to try out photoshops neural filters with the prompt of “faces that do not exist”. It was a lot harder to figure out how to find faces within the manga panels but I decided to instead focus on making faces out of items or limbs in the panels. Because the manga revolves around curses I decided to play around with making cursed figures

The first image is what I came up with in creating a face out of culmination of different objects I took from the manga panel shown second. I used some inspiration from an existing curse character to try and make it seem realistic or to get a sense if it at least looked similar.

Another one that I tried making out of a couple different panels mostly the second one. But to color them and make them a bit more realistic I used photoshops neural filter with different volume covers of the manga to stylize and color both images I created
