NEW LENSES: Experimental Capture and Release

I decided to build on my first speed project for my unit 1 final project. In my first speed project, I choose to inserting unexpected elements into landscape. In my previous work, I insert the ceiling of the museum into my bedroom’s window and insert the galaxy into the ceiling’s window.

However, it is not normal to see a scene like this, it is somehow not so surprising to insert a galaxy into a window. I decided to build my final project into a more experimental way base on my first speed project. In the end, I choose my concept as “selfie with everything” and “life observer”.

The idea is using the photo of my selfie in front of a mirror as the main frame, and inserting the whole world into my selfie. Then the photo will look like I’m taking photo of everything. Also, it give a feeling of I’m observing all over the world and everything.

I did two set of photos. The first set is travel around theme. And the second one is being an observer in life.
