DUE WEDNESDAY FEB 16TH

Every unit, you will pick one of the speed project prompts to develop into a Unit Final Project.
- Review the Prompts:
UNIT 1 Speed Project #3: Dimensional Still Life
UNIT 1 Speed Project #2: Site Specific Photoviz
UNIT 1 Speed Project #1: Landscape Photography from Bed
2. Brainstorm conceptual ideas around each prompt and pick a direction that inspires you. Look over the examples we reviewed in class for inspiration, and consider how to inject your own experiences, voice, and perspectives into your approach. Consider what you want to say and talk your approach through with us on discord if needed.
3. Choose your Tools. What tools do you want to experiment with? Are they tools you encountered in class? Are they tools you have existing experince with? Are they tools you need help finding? How can your conceptual approach and your tools come together to make something unique?
4. Consider where you want to situation your project. How do you want to release your experimental capture project? How do you see this getting shared in the world? Does this work live online? Does it get documented in images? Does it have its own tiktok account? or its own website? What is the best way to document and share your work to express your intended message?
3. Start working! Since your unit final project is your main out-of-class work, really take some time to make work you are proud of that took effort. You can not turn in something you made for a speed project. This needs to be new work you did outside of class. You can, however, use an approach you began experimenting with in class, or you can pick a new prompt/idea.
4. Make a blog post DUE ONE HOUR BEFORE CLASS STARTS ON WEDNESDAY FEB 16TH. Give your post a title, a description, and embed any relevant media or documentation. Check the categories “UNIT: 1” and “Landscape Final Project” to submit your project.
