For my speed-project I decided to combine the game landscape prompt with the image averaging prompt that we saw in class.
I remember seeing the image averaging of GTA and tried to attempt it but was quickly shot down with no Photoshop available to me. I tried looking at how to average images in other ways, found a python method (which I chose not to do), and instead experimented with Procreate. In Procreate, I set a photo to a layer and then set the layer to a low opacity (20%). Afterward, I created fourteen more layers doing the same thing resulting in the above image. Overall, I was surprised at how well the image turned out. However, if I were to do this over I would go through several iterations with limitations to specific areas in the game to explore color themes in such areas and experiment with the number of layers used to visualize how much of an impact it
Link Below goes to a two-second video of all the layers used in the image.
